Liverpool fans attending tonight's Europa League quarter-final first leg clash in Benfica will be fortunate enough to witness one of the most unique pre-match rituals in world football.
Prior to each Benfica home fixture, seven-year-old bald eagle Vitoria (Victory) stretches her imposing wings before taking flight around the Estadio da Luz and landing on a perch bearing the club crest.
Legend has it the flight will bring luck to the home side and the tradition is an awe-inspiring sight for both home and away fans alike.
