Teenager Builds Frankenstein Car Of An Old RX-7 With Mustang Engine

For the latest episode of Tuned, Matt Farah of Drive had the once in a life time opportunity to drive a very special Mazda RX-7. Nineteen year old Cobrin picked up the beat-up, dead ’84 RX-7 for just a few hundred bucks, and spent years and all the money he made delivering pizzas to rebuild the car. But not in the typical way.

He wanted a hot rod and a hot rod only, so he neglected all the cosmetics and purposefully made his car a monstrous Frankenstein. Besides for looking the part–packed with countless custom contrasting parts–he also packed in a huge, five liter, 400 HP, V-8 Mustang engine into the tiny car to truly give his Zero F**ks Given RX7 the heart of a beast.
